Palo Santo wood

Excellent quality Palo Santo woods.

Palo Santo means "holy wood" and like white sage it comes from South America. It is widely used by natives, shamans and aromatherapists as an incense. They use it during ceremonies to clear the aura and to heal from negative interference.

The essential oil-rich wood of the Palo Santo tree has been found to contain approximately 112 chemical compounds that make it a powerful antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, sedative, antiseptic and insecticidal agent helping people overcome colds, many illnesses, allergies, headaches, rheumatic problems, skin infections and many other.

It is said to enhance creativity, cleanse evil spirits and bring good luck!

It is traditionally used as a mosquito repellent and as an air purifier in the presence of patients.

But the most important compound found in its tobacco, limonene (~62.88%) is said to have chemotherapeutic properties and makes Palo Santo a very effective treatment for depression, anxiety and stress!

Its aroma can be described as warm, woody and light with a sweet note.

Compared to white sage, palo santo gives off a milder aroma.

Only Palo Santo* trees and branches that have fallen naturally and remained in the earth for at least 3-4 years are used, so nature is not harmed and its rich aroma is achieved.

Use:

1. Light the edge of the wood.
2. When it lights up and has a good red flame, then extinguish the flame and the wood will give off a sweet incense smoke for a few minutes.
3. It will turn itself off and you can turn it back on the same way several times.

You can also leave a Palo Santo stick in your drawer and it will sweeten your clothes for months!

Palo Santo sticks can be rubbed and ground to make an excellent material for incense blends, lozenges and cones.
